Jess is a yoga teacher and teacher trainer who expanded her movement practice to Pilates in 2021. In a bid to manage hip pain and fibromyalgia, she first started consistent practice at Movewell, with Amy. Since then, she’s attended Rebel Pilates Collective classical training. 

Informed by her journey into fat liberation, the core philosophy of yoga, bodywork, and somatics, Jess’ philosophy of movement is one of joy, wellbeing, and vitality rather than aesthetics or burning/torching/shredding. Movement can be a healing opportunity and enhance the enjoyment of life! Make no mistake, though, this does not necessarily mean easy or forgoing goals for vibes. She loves to meet you right where you are and guide you to where you want to go, finding playfulness as you go.

Supporting this philosophy is over 13,000 hours of training, teaching, and professional practice. From traditional Chinese cupping, Thai yoga massage, and myofascial release, to power yoga, yoga for every body, and gentle somatic yoga, to classical Pilates, Jess has built skills through her passion for learning and working with others for over a decade.
